Prickly Ornaments
A merry group of prickly ornaments are headed into the shop today. You gotta treat these ornies with great care or they tend to bite. Patrick calls them ninja stars but they make me think of little wreaths.

Groceries Collage
Well I finally decided what to do with all those grocery snippets I'd painstakingly cut from my teetering pile of mid-century magazines. They transformed this 'ol cutting board into a quirky art object. Fun, fun.

Home Sweet Home
This little piece morphed several times and finally took on the form of an old puppet theater. Don't read into it too much but don't we all live out our lives on some sort of stage? At least I cleaned up its act from the previous layout which had the words in ransom-type lettering, home sweet f***ing home, emblazoned across the top. Maybe I need therapy?

Oh La La
One of my quirkiest clown finds to date--a pair of costumed erasers. This little treasure was inspiration for a fun Etsy treasury last week. Oh la la! I'm gonna tell Santa that these would make a great stocking stuffer for me ('cuz I've been so good this year).

Owl Family
For the past few weeks there's been what sounds like an entire family of owls parked in the trees outside our bedroom window. They always start hooting back 'n forth when we try to sleep. Anyhoo--thought I'd share this 'lil owl family I've put together for the shop. The mama and papa came from here and the orange baby owl was picked up years ago in Alabama. They make the perfect, kitschy trio--googly eyes and all.

Tacks 'n Bits
Well I sat down at the computer this morning and promptly fell down the rabbit hole of Etsy. This collection of neutrally gray goodies came together quite nicely if I do say so myself. But after I sent out messages to all the lovely sellers included I realized I had called it a "Tuesday list" and it's Wednesday! Since its lookin' like it's "one of those days" I'm off to scavenge another cuppa caffeine.

Vintage Halloween Goodies
Yay....it's October! Only thirty more nights before the BIG night of spooks 'n all the sweets you can eat. The littlest person in this house is still weighing the most important decision of all--what to be?! She's narrowed it down to a clown, Little Red Riding Hood or a ghost. Feel free to cast a vote and I'll pass it along 'tho I can't promise all ballots will be weighed equally 'cuz at the end of the day she may re-write the ballot. hahaha.
