Today is my 36th birthday! To celebrate the day I've unearthed a book by Better Homes and Gardens titled Holiday Decorations You Can Make which was published in 1974, my birth year. Of course, I wish I had time to craft these folksy creations (especially those spiffy window shades for every window in the house) but alas, time has run out! Seriously though, aren't the paper chains remarkable? I'll just have to settle for this eye candy and the scrumptious red velvet cake that Patrick bakes for me every year.
