Several new assemblage pieces are the result of that 1950's newspaper I shredded the other day. The colors were so perfect for these small collaged landscapes. You can view more of these in the shop right here.

ReplyDeleteone of my very favorite finds was a newspaper from the late 60s and the colors were amazing. i'm still using the occasional small scrap from it.
Thanks so much Hollie! I agree--the color newsprint from that era is incredible for collage. I've had these papers for several years now and can't seem to part with a scrap of it.
ReplyDeleteThese are super cool!
ReplyDeleteYour work is really gorgeous, so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI saw a post at Fiona Cartolina's blog about your work, really great. I'd love to blog about you too, for my Dutch 'audience'!
Thanks John!
ReplyDeleteEllen--I'd be honored to have my work introduced to your Dutch audience :) I hadn't seen Fiona's post yet but I'll go look now. Thank you!
I took me a while to read your return comment... I'll snatch some pictures off your blog and shop and do it straight away!
