French Embroidery Rings



I used up a few more tidbits from this booklet of French embroidery patterns. Instead of brooches, this time I created a handful of over- sized rings. Aren't they festive? I think so.

  1. Oh! These are lovely! I'm told, (by people who know about this kind of thing) that if you have an oversized cocktail ring, you're supposed to paint your nails a colour to match. That embroidered ring with similar designs on the fingernail would look VERY glam, Darling! It would fancy up the old LBD, too.

  2. Oooohh...yes! I want nails to match. How wild would that be?! Makes me wonder who comes up with rules like this? Fancy LBD for sure :)
