Art of Gelatine

I found this small booklet of gelatine recipes, published by Knox Gelatine Company in 1930, on my last thrifting adventure. The lithographed images tucked inside were so delectable and I've created a set of nine ephemera blocks that will be available in the shop tonight.

These would be delicious displayed in a kitchen or dining area-- don't you think?

  1. I love these! They look so good. Will have to add one or two to my Sushipot collection. I really like how you showed your inspiration next to the finished product.

I can't help but think of Julia Jacquette's paintings from about ten years ago when I see these. Have you ever seen it? Lots of food, particularly jello.

  2. Thanks Kim! I'll be sure to look up Julia Jacquette's work. I don't believe I've seen it before.
