Rubber Duck

Rubber Duck, original assemblage with puzzle duck head piece

While assembling this assemblage I remembered that Lizzie's first birthday cake had a rubber duck motif so I dug it out of our family photo archives to share with you. Kinda continuing on with the bathtub theme from Monday's post ;) When's the last time you listened to the Rubber Ducky song?

The Bathtub

The Bathtub, original collage on book cover

Sometimes our imagination gets the best of us doesn't it? I've got all sorts of fun objects brewing in the studio this week. I'll be back tomorrow with an assemblage that may or may not include a clown (but more than likely will).

Duck & Frog Assemblage

Mr. Duck, mixed media assemblage

Mr. Frog, mixed media assemblage

Even though there are still a few weeks until the "official" start of spring, I'm already dreamin' of it and all its pizzazz (love that word!). Two lighthearted assemblages, Mr. Duck and Mr. Frog, are hanging out in the shop as of this morning. Are you dreaming of springtime too?
