Bird's Eye Assemblage

Pinecone Birds
All sorts of treasures are waiting patiently to be photographed for the vintage shop. My new studio is a wee bit smaller than my last space so I'm continuing to pare down what to keep and what to share. So....the big plan this week is to dust off the camera and get back to photographing more sweet treasures.

Cheery Crewel
Thought I would greet this new week by sharing a cheery crewelwork piece I picked up earlier in the month. How could I resist these sweet lovebirds? The piece was probably intended to become a pillow but now that it's mine it will be stuck in a frame and hung up in Lizzie's room.

Doily Bird Ornaments
These doily bird ornaments were finished up over the weekend. I was thrilled to have found the little hand carved birds at Will & Kay Studios on Etsy. Lizzie had fun helping me photograph them. Don't you just love the fake tree? Oh well.

Orange Birdhouse
Lizzie is very proud of the little orange birdhouse she painted this weekend and mounted to a tree (with Daddy's help) outside. Lots of birdseed has been tucked inside and she's hoping a lucky bird will discover it before flying south for winter.

Birds & Animal Puzzles
A selection of antique bird and animal puzzles are available here. I've never seen any like these before. The heads are removable so you can match them with the correct creature or mix the species up a bit if you like.
