It's been a while since I added to the Bricolage series....so I've created this trio for the 1st week of May.

Spring Bricolage

As promised there are some new Bricolage pieces in the shop this evening. We had another dusting of snow today but there are rumors of warmer weather later on in the week. I wore sandals to the park earlier this weekend....Lizzie says Mother Nature is teasing us....only 9 days 'til Spring.

Bricolage Collage

Now that the studio is back in working order from its yearly deep-clean I tested the creative waters with a round of Bricolage collage. Thought this was some fitting imagery for embarking on a new year, with the ships, sailor 'n bits of astronomical references. Aren't we still in a phase of contemplating the uncharted waters of 2013? Don't know about you but I sure am.

New (& Improved) Bricolage

New and improved pieces from my Bricolage series are in the shop. I've upgraded the panels to a chunkier wooden panel--they still measure 4" x 4" but are now 1.5" deep. These new panels give you display options in that you can hang 'em up or set them on a shelf. We're gettin' fancy around here!

Bricolage For March

New Bricolage pieces for March were posted in the shop last night. There's a good selection of these available right now if I do say so myself!

New Bricolage

Three new pieces in my Bricolage series have been posted in the shop this evening. When I went to mount the collage onto panels last night I realized I only had three panels left. More panels have been ordered so the other collage from this sneak peek will be up later in the week. Hope your weekend is going well. Mine is busy, busy--just the way I like it--'cept when I don't but that's another story.

Late Night Bricolage

I was up late last night working on a new grouping of collage for my Bricolage series. After losing track of time I realized I never prepared a blog post for today so instead you get to take a peek at this pile of un-stitched collage. Happy hump day!

Bricolage Overview

One of the things I've been meaning to do lately is upload work to Flickr so that I have a virtual gallery of sorts. Last night I finally began the project and uploaded my Bricolage series--all 49 of them! The Bricolage series, mixed media collage on a 4" x 4" panel, began back in 2008.
