My mama heart strings were tugged a bit when Lizzie announced she was too old to dress up and go trick-or-treating this year. She's much more excited about the prospect of handing out candy to the neighborhood kiddos and seeing their costumes. I've been consoling myself by dressing up art dolls in the studio. Remember my little Raggedy Ann?

The rain let up just in time for Raggedy Ann to go trick-or-treating this evening. I gotta say thank you to the Rountree neighborhood for an awesome first Halloween in Springfield....y'all outdid yourselves!

Happy Halloween friends! We're busy getting ready for this evening and crossing our fingers that the rain stops. Lizzie has decided on a Raggedy Ann costume....it's store bought as I lack patience for anything involving a sewing machine. I'll be sure to share pictures later on tonight or in the morning ;) Wishing all you little trick-or-treaters a safe and silly night!

My sieve collection just lost another member. I'm thinking this button bear dressed up a little early for trick-or-treating? There's already been an involved discussion about costume options in this house too.

Little Red Riding Hood

Our Little Red Riding Hood filled her basket will all kinds of yummy treats tonight but that pesky Big Bad Wolf (on a stick) was up to his old tricks. Thinking of all you 'lil ghosts 'n ghouls on the East Coast. Hope everyone had a fun & safe Halloween.
