Spirograph Pendants

According to my blog stats there's a whole lotta you Spirograph lovers out there. My post on Spirograph patterns over a year ago remains my most popular post to date! Anyhow, I finally snipped up the spiro-goodness and created these lovely spiro-graphic pendants. They will be trickling into the shop throughout the day today. Collage Pendants

Spent a bit of time fiddling around in the studio this weekend and came up with some new collage pendants. They are on a smaller scale than these and the miniature collage was created using leftover scraps from this pile. I was quite pleased with the abstract patterns that emerged and am thinkin' I may have to keep one for myself.

New Necklaces

This tray of ephemera pendants was posted today so now the shop is chock-full of new necklaces.

New Couture Collage

A medley of Couture Collage necklaces were finished up and stocked in the shop last night. Enjoy & have a happy Monday!

Insect Imagery

A wealth of antique insect imagery has been acquired here at Sushipot. The book, published in 1878, was picked up at a used book store. The owner said he was about to toss it because of the water damage and dismantled binding. I'm so glad I stopped in and discovered the volume before he did!


Many of the full illustration plates will be posted at Sushipotparts. I've already listed a couple here. Aren't these exquisite?! 

Couture Collage

So here's a glimpse of the project I've been working on the past couple weeks....Sushipot's Couture Collage pendants. Each pendant is unique and carefully designed with you in mind. Believe me--you won't come across anyone else wearing the same thing when you're sporting a Couture Collage pendant! These pendants are actually quite versatile (dress 'em up or down), light weight (wooden base) and they look good worn on a long chain or wrapped around your neck with a dark ribbon. I've designed these with extra large bails so you can get creative how you wear them or display them when you're not.

I was quite impressed with the photos that Lizzie took of me wearing one of the pendants and will be using her images in the shop listing. We both had a lot of fun taking these pictures :) The first seven pendants of the Couture Collage series will be up in the shop over the weekend but I wanted to make sure all of you had a sneak peek. Now you can wear a Sushipot original if you like!
