Mother Goose Plaques

Seriously tacky plaques for the kid-at-heart-with-a-slightly-dark-side. I do not recommend hanging these in the nursery due to their ninja star-like qualities. The imagery is from a 1930's Mother Goose book. These prickly plaques along with a few other paper doll plaques will be sprinkled into the shop over the weekend.

Sweet Art Blocks

For the young and the young-at-heart...sweet art blocks for all ages. These make perfect 'lil gifts for new parents, a child's birthday or a special teacher. Want to reserve one? You can email me here. Enjoy!

To Market, To Market

To Market, To Market, assemblage with old cuckoo clock frame

Finally put one of these cuckoo clock frames to good use. We always quote the second line of this Mother Goose poem to Lizzie when pulling back into our driveway at home after a road trip or visit to the grocery store. My parents did the same when I was a kid....

....home again, home again, jiggety-jig.

Mother Goose Toy

A wooden stacking toy of the endearing Mother Goose is my hands-down favorite find brought home from this recent excursion. She's aged to perfection dontcha think?!

Mother Goose Circus

Back in the 1930's Kellogg's did promotions through a children's radio program with The Singing Lady. Children could redeem their cereal box tops for The Singing Lady's songbooks or fun items such this fantastic Singing Lady's Mother Goose Circus paper-craft diorama. If I could redeem boxtops for treasures like these today I'd be eating cereal three meals a day! I've been holding onto these for years but am thinkin' I may do something with them soon. Even after the Circus Wagon and Animal Crackers assemblage pieces I'm still in the mood for some circus-y fun and the carnival is coming to town this weekend. How can I resist?
