Winter Collage Blocks

The first snowflakes of the season drifted down earlier this week. Looks like we're in for a long winter. On the to-do list this weekend....shop for snow boots. Gotta keep our tootsies warm! This wintery mix of collage blocks will be posted in the shop today.

More Holiday Blocks

More holiday blocks for you this Monday morning. Lots of classic toys featured this time 'round....dolls, hobby horsies, a pull toy, balls, drums, a teddy bear and a roly poly clown. I've got a few assemblage pieces underway here in the studio and another handful of dangle ornaments. Will definitely get the ornaments in the shop this week and hopefully some assemblage.

Winter Art Blocks

 

We had our first freeze a few nights ago here in Springfield, Missouri. Some of the neighborhood trees are already bare and the sound of leaf blowers has become the norm. Looks like winter is right around the corner! A dozen art blocks are ready be stocked in the shop today along with some ornaments.

September Blocks

There are only twelve days 'til the autumnal equinox and around six weeks to Halloween. This means my September offering of art blocks needed a spine-tingling vibe....that and I've been listening to this reading of The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde while I cut and paste.

July Art Blocks

Can you believe we're already half-way through the year? This one seems to be picking up speed! July's art blocks are ready a bit early and I will be posting them in the shop this afternoon. If you see one you would like to reserve you can send me a note right here. Wishing you a lovely July.

June Art Blocks

There are only ten days until the summer solstice here in the Northern Hemisphere. Filled these little treasures with lots of sunshine (and a moon!)....plenty to share with my friends on the Southern Hemisphere too ;) These will all be in the shop by the end of the day.

My offering of art blocks for the month of May will be sprinkled into the shop today. There are two distinct groups this round....one of fanciful fun and the other of natural wonder. Enjoy your weekend!

March Art Blocks

We've been enjoying warm Springtime breezes and slightly longer days (thanks to daylight savings last weekend). I'm welcoming the real thing and am quite ready for my 'happy lamp' to collect dust 'til next winter. This month's art blocks have been steeped in all sorts of sunny thoughts :) They'll be in the shop today.

February Art Blocks

February's installment of art blocks will be listed in the shop throughout the day. Here's a preview of most--there are 16 total so a few surprises to watch for. Working with the hand marbled paper was a delight. The colors complimented the old paper snippets in my stash of collage material oh so perfectly.

More January Blocks

As promised I'm back with another round of collage blocks. This grouping nods to the upcoming Valentine season and hints of Spring. Can you tell I'm beginning to tire of the roller coaster temperatures here in the Midwest? Gotta find creative ways to stave off impending cabin fever.

Holiday Art Blocks

It's all about toys this time of year! I've been compiling lists of toy ideas for the kiddos in my life and I need to get cracking with the shopping. Anyhow...toys have been on my mind and this new grouping of holiday art blocks goes right along with that theme...dolls, wooden blocks, nutcrackers, trains and of course the man who makes all the magic....Mr. Santa himself.
